Internationa Biennale of antiques in Florence - 2024

The Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato di Firenze (BIAF) returns to the historic Palazzo Corsini. A story of masterpieces that began in 1959 with an exhibition dedicated to the most important and best Italian antique art in the world. The monumental stairway at Palazzo Corsini, the soaring frescoed ceilings, the terrace overlooking the Arno, the beauty of the past and splendour of recent times so close you could almost touch it, art that cedes to the artisan even if only for a moment, the faint thrill of the unexpected and the surprise of gazing upon a discovered masterpiece: this is what’s in store during the nine days, from September 24 to October 2nd, 2022, visitors can immerse themselves in the noble grace of the 33nd edition of the International Biennial Antiques Fair. The expanded timeframe that now includes the 1980s opens up the possibility for a rich range of objects by art dealers selling the best pieces in their collections, contributing to creating an ephemeral and elegant museum that boasts the countless shades of the art of antique trading.​ ​Fabrizio Moretti will head the event, trusted decision - maker and secretary for the association, who always knows to look to the future without ever forgetting the past and its virtues.
