Enveloping elegance
Monica Sarti was born among the colours, smells and magic of wool. She comes from a family that carries textiles in its DNA, that of the Lanificio Faliero Sarti, one of the textile manufacturers to best represent Made in Italy, and for her a very personal journey. After spending time in New York, Monica returned to Florence to take the helm of the company’s scarves department, immediately discovering its potential. She was the first fashion designer to give this accessory such elegance, quality and charm, making it a real must-have. There is so much of Monica in the Faliero Sarti’s creations. Take her first scarf, which drew inspiration from her dog Pedro. Since then, it has become an international hit. The scarves of Faliero Sarti are filled with stories, refined orders and fine fabrics; they are enveloping but not bulky and above all are soft like a caress.
