Memories and layers between time and space
“We perceive the world as a sum of instants that, overlapping each other, merge to form feelings and memories, our very own reality.” Riccardo Magherini fine art photography, tells us about cities and street life stories, where moments and places are layered and merged in a unique vision. He says about his work : “I shot all around the environment that surrounds the subject, collecting pictures as fragments of time and space, suggesting a story, sometimes a memory of it. Memories and layers between time and space. They give me that wonderful precious sense of estrangement that makes me feel ‘not at home’.” His works have been awarded at international competitions such as the International Photography Awards, the International Aperture Awards, the Prix de la Photographie Paris and the London International Creative Competition. ph.©Riccardo Magherini
