Architecture - in all its forms

Claudio Nardi began his career in Florence, where he attended the Porta Romana Art Institute, until his significant collaboration with Carlo Scarpa on specific projects. The highly creative and innovative historical context, typical of Italy at that time, inspired his expressive language and placed him at the epicentre of design, cultured architecture and intellectually lively thinking. However, during his studies, he maintained contacts with influential design figures and groups such as Poltronova, Superstudio, Sottsass, Ron Arad, and others, until he met Andrea Panconesi. Together they set up the Luisa Via Roma project in Florence, with which he began his foray into the world of fashion and fashion design, positioning himself among the leading architects in this field. These marks the beginnings of a prestigious career, which led him to sign projects of great international importance such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Poland, realised through a major renovation and functional  rehabilitation of the former Schindler factory.

A compendium of experiences and visions that do not neglect local projects such as the Riva Lofts in Florence. It is a collection of rooms with recognisable design and striking shapes. Interiors which combine period furnishings with modernity, offering private entrances which open onto the view of the surrounding urban area or natural landscape. A former workshop transformed into a true destination culminating in the Riva Kitchen by Michele Berlendis. A real treasure trove with a winter lounge and fireplace, summer terraces and a cuisine based on simplicity, taste, ethics, seasonality and local ingredients. Today, Claudio Nardi's vision is recognised for the purity of forms and large volumes, characteristics that reflect the modernity and innovation of his architecture, not only functional and aesthetic, yet in perfect harmony with its historical surroundings.
